Ya’ll can argue over slow cooker or no, but when you live in a freezing cold snow climate and get a hunger for bar b que brisket you cook it whatever way you can.
You do know that TRUE “liquid smoke” is simply the collection of condensation from smoldering wood you use to “smoke” meat?
It is…bay leaves n onion give it great flavor…love making sandwiches with the leftovers..
This is almost the exact recipe I use for pulled pork. except: I add everything at once, and add 1 Tbsp Beavers Sweet Hot Mustard, which helps cut the salt.
