Imagine a warm baked bread, filled with berries, candied fruits and raisins. Warm butter melted over the top, trimmed with almonds and cherries. Mmmmmm. Now, doesn't that sound good? This bread is a “treat” compared over some of the other dessert selections on your dinner table.
Most people like to take and decorate their candied Christmas bread. When adding almonds, there are some who decide to also add shredded coconut. They take a bit of green food coloring and design an actual wreath on the bread itself.
