I've always been a huge fan of pretty much anything that you can cook or bake twice. Sure, for some of us small time home kitchen chefs, the thought of baking something twice usually lends itself to a boat-load of time spent toiling away when you could be doing something else like laundry. Trust me, I know. I am sure that some of you can relate but when you have a house full of kids and constant flow of friends and family, who really has the time to cook something twice when cooking it once is all that's needed?!
Well, that is exactly why I came up with this recipe. Do potatoes really need to be baked more than once? Heck no! But let me tell you, one bite of a good twice baked potato will make you throw caution to the wind fire up your oven. Add in the steakhouse twist that this recipe follows and you'll be coming back for seconds before you are done with the first round!
