Hot dogs are always a big hit, whether it's at the big game day party with friends, or hosting an impromptu backyard cookout with friends, family and maybe even the neighbors. They're also a popular snack for kids, which is why parents so often serve them at children's birthday parties. However, as much as we like the original, we're always looking for ways to kick things up a notch (or two!) and we certainly achieved that with this amazing everything bagel hot dog recipe.
It has everything we like about traditional hot dogs, including a rich and tender hot dog, and hearty bread to wrap it up in, but this recipe has an unexpected twist: instead of being placed inside ordinary (and plain) hot dog buns, the hot dog is tucked inside.
These hot dogs have a little bit of every kind of flavor, including rich, creamy and tangy cream cheese; sweet bagel dough, and salty and savory toppings.
