When It Comes To Spaghetti Sauce We’re Making Ours Like This From Now On!

This Traditional Sauce Recipe Brings The Soul Of Italy Right Into Your Kitchen – You Are Going To Love The Authentic Spices & Our Way Of Cooking It – WOW!

This Sauce Will Be Your Go To Every Night That You Don't Know What To Make For Dinner.

A good meat sauce on my spaghetti brings me back to my childhood. I loved the sauce more than the pasta, hands down. I was always a team sauce person. Maybe that's because my mom didn't make pasta by hand, but what single mothers do? The sauce was so good that I would sneak a coffee cup and fill it just with the sauce and eat it like soup. I would tell my mom I was just doing ‘quality control' even though I never said she needed to add anything. It was just my way of showing that I absolutely loved every time she made this sauce and I could just not wait a second longer. Confession. Now that I'm an adult, I still do the same thing when I make spaghetti.

My heart twinkled a little when I saw that this recipe called for a jar of marinara sauce as well. My mom did the same exact thing. She would doctor up a jar of sauce to make it her own recipe. You'll see that this recipe included many other ingredients and is not just a glorified jar of sauce.

I am a Cajun, and we don’t put all those ingredients in spaghetti. For the Cajuns, it’s mostly in the cooking technique….and to me, it’s the best! My husband made a ground beef spaghetti this past weekend and it was out of this world!

Cajuns put bell peppers in spaghetti sauce….and let me tell you, spaghetti made the Cajun way is FABULOUS! And I’m not referring to New Orleans cooking. I’m talking about authentic Cajun cooking from the bayous south of New Orleans.

I went to Italy and they do not put meat in the sauce, meat is cooked seperate from the sauce they put on pasta. And it not cooked all day. Sauce is made in 20min then put on pasta. Meat on side. All you people should know tomatoes are a fruit not veggie. No need to cook a very long time. No paste, or other stuff, just olive oil, garlic browed an removed tomatoes crushed by hand, ( San Marciano ) only salt pepper, and a limitless sugar . That’s all.

I love bell pepper for many things but not pasta sauce or homemade chili. It’s just too overwhelming to me but, to each his own. I personally would never make a bowl of Cole slaw without some green bell pepper. That being said, I recently had some pasta sauce with chopped zucchini squash in it, which I thought was crazy, but I LOVED it.
