If you have a fan for your oven do not turn on because it will splatter grease.

I always cook my bacon on a sheet pan in the oven, It is by far the easiest way to prepare bacon and it turns out perfect everytime.

There is no cleanup if you put foil in your sheet pan. And if you can cook more at one time than I can on a large sheet pan I would be interested to know in what and your method.

Not sure how you can do it wrong cold pan high heat. In case you haven’t noticed bacon platters whether on stove or in oven..I choose not to have a grease splattered oven just for bacon…. I can clean my stove much easier….

According to the test kitchen in Cooks Country .. in pan in stove with some water on high heat when water comes to boil lower to medium heat when water boiled out low heat until done- crips no burning and much easier to clean up. This is how I do it.

Best way to cook bacon is in the microwave. One layer on microwave dish covered with paper towel for three minutes and if you want it crispy go four minutes.

Never-fail recipe as follows: Select a finished , and sanded piece of one by two(1×2). Build a campfire shaped structure with all the sticks meeting in the middle.(see teepee)Your finished board will balance across the top. Start fire, tack bacon lightly to the finished board. With a medium fire, it should only take 12-15 for the grease from the fat in the bacon to soak into the board instead of your belly. Next, remove the board.Ensure that you are using SOFT pine. At this point, remove the bacon, and eat the board.

Line the baking pan with foil. When you’re done let the pan cool then simply fold up the foil and throw it away. The baking pan will be basically clean. Maybe just a rinse off

The army cooks lined sheet pans with bread heels( crusts) and laid out bacon strips on that to soak the grease. I think the crusts went in the garbage.
