    Val I probably usually buy about a pound and a half? If you are making it for just 2 or 3 people, after you mix it you can divide it and put in two loaf pans to cook it. Otherwise, I used a large casserole dish. I think you will like this. Not the big ketchup flavor and the diced tomatoes mixed with it help to keep the meatloaf moist.

    I have a loaf pan that is called a meatloaf pan It has a thing inside pan where the meat does not sit in grease and you just lift it out when done. I love that pan.

    I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and peas. Then I’ll get some potatoes on my fork, flip it over, and press it into my peas. Old habit from childhood. :-p

    I like the basic traditional meatloaf which ALL those veggies can be.side servings. Evetyone to their own taste.buds. Looks good n if I were to make it one day, I’ve leave out the mushrooms.

    I bring from the oven. The amount I want to freeze, I put in refrigerator to cool down quickly then wrap and put in freezer. I just so happen to have a meatloaf made up this morning and ready to to go in the oven at 3:30. Here in a few mins.

    Patricia Hawk not trying to be rude but all of those are cuts of beef and the numbers represent the fat content.
    80/20 means you beef is 80%lean 20% fat content.

    I put in eggs crackers or bread crumbs, onion, hamburger, and Jimmy dean sausage, and put a glaze over the top, and lay bacon slices over the top also. I like mine well done, so bake it 1 in a half hours at 350.
